Our First Post!

Heard the latest news? Capy Studios has a lot of
exciting happenings … and this is where you
can read about the who, what, where, when
and especially why!
Capy Studios… for the uninitiated- is the vision
of creative Ian Wegher-Thompson. After his
premature passing, his dream of a project
incorporating multi-media elements-
storytelling, puppetry and animation with a
warm Mr. Rogers undertone is being realized
and created. His folks Seth and Barbara lead a
dedicated and growing crew. Creative souls,
we collectively care about Ian’s unique idea.
So much so that we are collaborating to bring
central character Marty- a colorful capybara-
to life. For all ages.
Ian, as his friends and family know, was
intrigued by the characteristic creature. Capy-
tivated. Transforming Marty from page to
puppet form to animation for screen was the
creative challenge for Capy Studios. “Marty’s
Place” is the result. The pilot episode “Love is
Patient” is in the works after a ton of research
and involvement from artists, writers,
puppeteers, musicians, voice actors and more.
Development heaven. Then…LIGHTS, CAPY,
ACTION!!
